24 Hour Live in Care Platinum Service
The Platinum Service is an Enhanced Level of Service and provides a superior degree service and quality assurance.
Clients don’t really need to do anything – we are able to take care of everything on your behalf.
The Good Companions Agency assumes responsibility for employing and providing the carer and for managing, supervising and monitoring all aspects of the care package. This significantly removes responsibility from the clients and their relatives.
The service is directed from our National Operational Centre in Kingston upon Thames and is supported Nationally from our Operational Centre in Carlisle and by a network of Regional Managers.
We actively encourage clients and their families to be involved and especially in the monitoring of the service where their involvement will benefit the quality of care provided.
- All the carers are employed and supported by The Good Companions and are provided with paid annual holidays
- Clients are provided with a complete procedure file which covers all aspects of the service
- We provide an ongoing monitoring service and we visit regularly in order to do this
The Platinum service is appropriate
- When clients prefer or require someone else to deliver, manage, supervise and monitor all aspects of the care package on their behalf
- When quality of service delivery is of primary importance
- When the care needs of the individual are likely to fluctuate and therefore care provided needs to be responsive and adaptable to meet changing requirements. Carers may need individual training to meet these needs.
- If the service is being paid for by Social Services or when clients wish to use Direct Payments or the Independent Living Fund
